After 10 years in the struggle against inhumane treatment and torture and four years working for peace and non-violence, she agreed to take the position as Coordinator for the Center for Services in Restorative Justice at the end of 2009. She is happy to dedicate her efforts to promoting an innovative approach with so much promise for the future.

Yves Gilbert, Vice-President

An experienced administrator in community organizations and former president of the Fédération des scouts du Québec, Yves Gilbert became a member of the CSJR’s Board of Directors in November 2009, an involvement that is in keeping with previous commitments and in harmony with his personal convictions.

Jacques Godbout, Treasurer

After 32 years in business and company administration and 15 years in international aid in Africa (notably as Country Director for Feed the Children, Kenya), Jacques Godbout has chosen to bring his experience in the field of finance to the CSJR by becoming its treasurer in 2008.

Réal Gignac, a married father and grandfather, was a banker for 36 years. A graduate in business administration from HEC and in theology from the University of Ottawa, he has become an active volunteer in retirement. Gignac offers support at a listening center, leads symbolic Biblical catechism, and gives pastoral care in the form of premarital and grief counseling. He is also a member of the Circles of Support and Accountability. In addition to being a director for the CSJR, he is president of Criphase (an organization for men who were sexually abused in childhood).
