Our Services

1. The CSJR organizes Victim-Offender Encounters (VOE) or Rencontres Détenus-Victimes (RDV) that bring together victims of crime and offenders who do not know one another in a safe environment to engage in dialogue.

Objectives:

Create an environment where victims and offenders can meet each other and express themselves freely.
Deepen the awareness of the impact of crime.
Promote a release of negative and destructive emotions.
Facilitate mutual understanding between parties and the giving up of harmful prejudices.

2. The organization offers support in prison to offenders who were victims of child abuse.

3. The organization can make referrals to other services in restorative justice and mediation, available in Montreal.
