Funding

Founded in 2001, the CSJR was supported and sponsored by the Mennonite Central Committee and the Community Chaplaincy of Montreal, which is still a major financial contributor. In 2003, the Beati Foundation granted funding to the CSJR that allowed us to grow and maintain stable administrative support for the centre. The Correctional Service of Canada also provided the centre with funding from 2004 to 2007.

Since 2005, the CSJR has raised funds with different organizations, government ministries and religious communities as well as with individual citizens that believe in restorative justice.

By becoming a member of the CSJR, you are not only supporting a good cause, you are making it possible for us to offer free services to victims and offenders. Your donations are essential to proper operation of the centre and to the advancement of restorative justice.
